Hey Guys,
I've recently gotten back into cultivating and this time I decided to start with Agar plates.
I knocked these up 2 days ago and they look a little funny. What do you guys think?

Straight bacteria. How did you inoculate?

I inoculated using a loop according to this TEK:
https://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat.php/Number/21922023
I was very careful with sterile tek however the print i used is close to 5 yrs old and easily could be bad.
Thought i would give it a shot. Too bad.
My print was so dry that it was hard to pick up the spores with the loop. I think I will have to try again with a good print.

Print is probably very contaminated.
New print is your best bet.
You could try to do an agar slant, and *maybe* the spores will grow into the agar faster than the bacteria. Then you'd harvest the bottom of the agar slant. That's if you absolutely need this print to work. I've never done it successfully.

threads dont get deleted its against the rules. think of it like this other people benefit from the conversations that develop not just your own personal search for information.
thats bizarre it looks like you didnt get any spores to germinate at all.
