Sauna into Fruiting Chamber: Bad Idea?

I'm a novice cultivator, although I have a successful PF Tek and monotub grow under my belt.
I have a Dynamic 2 person sauna that no one uses just lying around and I'm beginning to entertain the idea of using it as a fruiting chamber. There is a lid at the top of the sauna that I can open/close for ventilation, and I could cover the glass door with black plastic so I can control the light cycles.
Is it a bad idea to convert the sauna into a fruiting chamber ala Martha Tek? I'm worried about two things principally: that the moisture from a humidifier will create rot/mold in the wood, or that the wood will soak up too much moisture and fuck with the humidity of my fruiting tubs. If the solution is to cover the entire interior with plastic or tarp then this isn't worth the effort.
BTW the wood is Canadian Hemlock and I'm unsure how the wood's properties will react to fruiting conditions.

Just fill it with monotubs.

Meh, if I go that route, I can just put lidded monotubs anywhere in my house. I'm not too pressed on converting the sauna into a fruiting chamber, its just been lying around and no one has been using it. I was thinking it could be cool if I could use it as a Martha tent and fill it with tubs without any lids.

if your worried about the wood, I would just line the inside with plastic, like a dexter kill-room.

Personally i would avoid wood surfaces if possible. Wood is full of microorganisms. You could always prime and paint the inside though. That would solve the problem of wood surfaces.

I wouldn't bother. It's like using a sword to cut carrots. You don't have to use the coolest tool just because you have one. When the job is done far easier with the right tools

Yeah I had suspected it wasn't worth the effort. The sauna has just been lying around not being used so the thought occurred. No reason to over complicate things when your Tek's exist Bod.
