Is this WBS contaminated or not?

Tried to get good pics.
It's a little yellow spec. I have sen something similar before but not sure if i tossed it or not

Looks funky but the pics wont enlarge. But i see the yellow. Is it yellow liquid or solid?

I can’t see what you’re talking about but from the way you describe it, sounds like metabolites. If you have any doubts, shake it and watch the recovery over the next 24-48 hours
If the wbs is inoculated with cultures from your re-used plastic petris, that could also be the culprit.

Ive come across this same stuff before, except mine was a clear jelly rather than yellow. Im not 100% sure what it is, but i spawned it and everything still went well, and that jar had it literally everywhere. If i had to take a guess id say its metabolites.

Yea haha you are most likely right.
It is only that little spot and I shook them a couple days ago and they recovered very quickly. Imma spawn it today actually
