It aint doin shit. Thats another good one. When will ppl stop regurgitating bs and start swallowing the hard truths??
I was on this site a few years ago with an account I can not remember or find. Much of the latest and greatest for methods has changed. I have read a lot but am nothing more than a super noob. It is challenging to sift out the new best practice "truth" from the old, if you have not been following the changes closely over time.

Fairly fuzzy. The base of every mush gets covered about half inch or less in bright white myc. Stale air though though you say? Sounds about right as it's winter and i don't open any windows in the room. Should I maybe just open the window a couple minutes a day to remedy this? It's been below zero outside unfortunately. Suppose I could just freshen up the air a little at a time.
What do you mean by growing hands off? As in just let it happen without my intervening?

What do ya'll think about the Cultivation Archives? I was looking through it the other day to see how people were doing Pans back in the day and I thought there was some good info in there.
I've recently come back after a 3 year hiatus, and what I'm noticing is that the hobby is really getting distilled down (which is good). Lots of steps being deemed unnecessary and people with successful grows to prove it.

I was just thinking this before I drifted off into a nap. They need oxygen, not air circulation. Thank you for that! It seems a lot of us really were doing things that missed the point. I'll go ahead and get some houseplants, probably spider plants and ivy. I've ditched the fish tank bubbler, going to stop fanning apparently as well and focus on improving oxygen levels.
Thank you all for being patient with me. I learned quite a bit from this thread. Well, I'm going to continue reading. Anyone recommend any new teks? I've been looking into bohdisatta's and agar's teks, anything else I should be checking out?

I started to worry about my mushroom grower future when I read all of this. How should we keep out from outdated information?

Look at the dates of posts and eventually you learn how to weed out the bullshit of course not everything recent is correct, some intuition is neccesary
