Shoeboxes in different stages in unmodified tub

So I had 3 shoeboxes colonizing consisting of poo/coir/verm/gypsum/spent coffe grounds. Two started pinning and one was fully colonized, so I put the 3 of them in a tub. I took the fully colonized, and the one that was pinning the most out of the shoebox and put them directly in the tub. I couldnt get the other one that was pinning out of the shoebox without it breaking.
Here they are:
Edit: More pics of surface (pinning blocks)

Pics of the one colonized, but non-pinning block:
(I think I may have sprayed it too much before I took these pictures)
After I did this, the two blocks that were taken out of the shoeboxes had gaps between them, so I put some 50/50 verm / peat moss around them. Originally, I put a thin layer of casing on top of everything, but I since took most of it off because its easier for me to tell if they need misting when I can see droplets sitting on the colonized substrate.
My question here is: Is there anything that I should do with the block that is not pinning? I put them in the tub 3 days ago. The two other blocks are coming along nicely. Should I try to get it back into a shoebox until it pins? Or maybe just cover it with the shoebox or something else?
I try to not let the non-pinning block get much water when I mist, I spray on an angle so 80%ish of the water hits the two pinning blocks.
I keep the lid completely off when Im not sleeping, and mist it when I dont see droplets on the sub. Sometimes if I cant tell, I look at the sides of the tub or the rim of the shoebox to see how much moisture is around.
Thanks for reading
Edit: I am taking some more pictures of the surface.

Sounds like you're on a pretty good track huh? Seems logical to me.
Doesn't sound alarming, that block should pin soon I would think.....
