Some have been re dunked. The healthy brown pins pushing through are a a new pin set. The darker ones are from the first pin set. Im new to this so any input helps. Thank you for your time.

Those "dark" ones are called aborts, they will no longer grow but they are still active and gram for gram aborts would be more potent then mature fruits so pick am! Everything else is looking good to me bud.

I was concerned they were aborts. Was hoping for healthy full grown babies and they were just discolored.
Oddly enough I had no aborts until after the dunk. Wonder if that had anything to do with it. I anticipated aborts during the initial flush. One more question for people visiting thread, I have one cake producing few pins but large caps. Is that still gonna be healthy?
 This is it this morning.
This is the only mushroom from the first flush. 3.3g dry.

Yeah man that's still healthy and good to go, it's most likely due to genetics since I'm assuming you used a ms syringe to your pf cakes?

First things first im hunting down the damn agar. After losing 2 bags and a jar and getting 0 positive results I wanna up my success ratio. That syringe was dead on arrival. I want my babies to stand a chance. Wonder if I can salvage any non contaminated mycellium and put it to agar. Hmm

I wouldn't risk it honestly, and I ordered all my agar stuff on Amazon prime. It's pretty cheap and shows up pretty fast.

Used your whole syringe on the cakes? You could just take a spore print from a good specimen and make a new spore syringe and take it to agar or even use spores to agar.

I get my agar-agar from the chinese/japanese grocery store...then again I live in a city...but you can order it off the internet easily.
Your cakes look good. In later flushes it is totally normal to get less fruits (but the few fruits you do get will be large, sometimes HUGE)...did you dunk after 1st flush? If not I'd dunk them after harvesting the 2nd flush. If you get 3 decent/good flushes from 1/2 pint cakes, I'd consider it mission accomplished!

Not a shotgun chamber. Just a standard chamber with airflow. Went to whole foods market. They had agar. 4.75 an oz Was gonna make my stuff tonight but pressure cookers are expensive as hell

What makes it so good is the fact that you have to do nothing but mist it when it looks like it's drying out, no fanning, no fae problems.

Those are minor. I like to check up on the babies anyways. I feel this FC could use another hole or two on each side. Not sure if the stems are long due to that or if thats a natural GT thing. Mist it 3 times a day. Fan it right after to kick start evaporation not too much work.
