Hello friends!
Once again im having some problems with my grow.
Couple of days ago ive inoculated my rye jars... after few days in incubator at about 26 degrees celsius ive noticed some of the jars have black rye at the botoom... Since its on bottom ive figured out its from the moist... its kinda rotten?
How did this happen, can i still shake the jars and use them in my mono?
Here are two different pictures one showing nice growing jar and one black....can i save my spawn guys?

Idk dude but that black one looks scary. I would throw that thing in a deep hole somewhere lol. Like what is that? Ergot on the rye? Ive never seen black grains, even if they were bacterial and left to rot for a long time. All the tcs are just gonna tell u to throw it away. Hopefully one of them knows that it is tho, just outta curiosity

If u keep having problems with ur grows, try losing the incubator. Its not needed for cubes. My jars sit close to a drafty window and its winter time and theyre fine still. Just wont colonize below 60f. And to help a little more, try pcing a little longer. Add a half hour to the time u do now.
Those 2 things should help cut down on some oof the problems ur having
And remove the foil from ur lids asap. Needs to be removed after pc'd

Dont use the black jar. Throw that out man. Whatevers in there thats black could kill u.
As for spawning, yea 3 jars will work fine if u follow a tek for spawning to bulk to the t. 100% colonized, thats personal preferance i guess. Some people colonize bulks, some colonize and consolidate, some just spawn and fruit. I let mine colonize probly 90% tho. But i use coir and sometimes a little bit dries and wont colonize. Usually fills in when i put into fruiting
