If its just CVG you're working too hard!
You can probably use a big pot with a lid if it will fit, most of use use the 5 gallon buckets because they're cheap (like 3$ at Lowes) and the lid fits tight, keeps the steam in.
Really no reason to pasteurize CVG. I did for a while a long time ago, bucket tek is a life saver

I use it literally every grow and it works like a charm. Just remember to squeeze ur coir after to get it to feild cap. Only a few drops should come off when u squeeze hard

Did you just change the question?
If you find any grains or pieces of straw in your coir try to pick them out. But unless you are using a type of coir that is lower grade and you consistently find junk like grains in it you are fine with bucket tek

I have used a pot and lid many times, I have used a cooler and I have used my pressure cooker & lid....none have failed me.

Oh eco earth is cool most of us use it
The coir is kept in big piles often on asphlat and stuff before its pressed into bricks sometimes you find bits of junk and stuff
