These Jars: Use 'Em or Toss 'Em?

I want to start the indoor oyster grow I've been thinking about. I started spawn in the summer, before I moved. As it's waited, it's been in a variety of conditions, mostly on the cool side.
Does it look like I might spawn what's in these jars to straw with success? I'm concerned it's grown discontent after this much of a wait. It looks like there's a war in the grain jars, between Pleurotus mycelium and something else. Are those amber and brown secretions exudates - battle-lines?

This one's just oyster on cardboard (with a little gypsum, I think from summer 2016).

Does that (or anything else) render these jars unusable?
If so, I've got a syringe of good spores, so should perhaps start fresh with grain bags.
Thoughts? And thanks!

There should be no battles in the jars

Those jars are toast. Start fresh.

Thanks, Morel Guy and hamloaf.
I'll toss the grain jars, and maybe try to use the cardboard.

Why are you in such a rush you need to use old spawn? Youll probably save more time in the long run if you start fresh now on agar and transfer to grains.

Thanks, hamloaf and Icezizim.
I've got some jars of colonized cardboard I thought I'd use (there's no competition in the jars - it's all Pleurotus growth). But perhaps it's too old.
Either way, I will start on agar!

Out door farming is timing
Indoors timing is crucail to space but that's about all. For any crop.

In the interest of time as simplicity all you had to say was "Toss Them"
Boom!!
Saved time and OP already knows what to do.

I would behead the contams first and display them on pikes in your grow room. This will serve as a warning to other contams as to what fate lies in store for them should they think of visiting you again.

I was going to laugh, Maggots - but you might be onto something!:
I don't discount the possibility that fungi are conscious (indeed, it's been discussed here!) - though I don't think they'd crack the hermeneutics of the cap-on-pike! And if they were pike-aware, it might look like an assistive spore-dispersal prop rather than a deterrent.
