Tray check

Had one 3/4 qt jar that was colonized and sitting for quite a while. Didn't really have the space/time to grain-to-grain it, so just decided to spawn it to 1qt steer manure + 1qt vermiculite. Not all of the substrate made it out of the pillow case and into the tray, so this is like a 1:1 spawn to substrate mix. Was layered in the tray (11x9) and it fully colonized in the dark after about a week and a half (more quickly than expected). Was concerned that maybe it was bacterial due to the fast colonization. Anyway, any opinions on how it looks would be appreciated.

Thanks. I'm thinking I probably won't get much yield, but ohh well. This was just a way to quickly use up some spawn I had laying around.

I love tray grows like this
Here's one from about 4 years ago. I just dumped some excess spawn in and threw a peat casing on top, fruited in a SGFC

Are we trading dick pics? Heres mine
Ur yield could be ok. I got 32gs dry of this flush. Same size pan i think

Next time fill ur tray a lil more to help with drying. I noticed thin subs in these trays dry quick. But it looks like that things gonna be nice in a week

I wouldn't say its too much, but probably not necessary. You could do a 1:2:2 spawn:poo:verm and it would be quite full, and likely colonize in about 2 weeks.

So I think maybe I've gotten it too wet? I've only been misting like once or twice per day, but it looks like there's a film of water over the surface; not your normal beads of dew. Plus I'm not seeing it knot up like I expected. I guess maybe I was so concerned about it drying out I've maybe water logged the surface a bit. It is wet to the touch.
