Strange growth on agar

inoculated with MS syringe.

Growth started out promising with what looked like mycelium, is now developing a green-ish center!

It's hard to tell what is going on without light directly underneath, but you should probably not be seeing green.

It is advisable to inoculate several points on a plate, or better yet, do a streak with the multispore solution. Then even if you have some contams you can still isolate a clean section of mycelium.  :thumbup:
