MYSTERY colonization

Just a question since I tried searching for a long time and ruled out contam, wet spot, and improper tek myself. Also due to many different terms used it's kinda hard to search for your problem using any words that someone else may have used but...
I have noticed in very batch of PF I do one jar has a funny issue. one innoc spot will stall while the other side's will grow well and eventually colonize the whole thing and meet the other sides innoc spot that hasn't changed from about day 4. I use clone on agar to LC with isolates produced in previous transfers so it is definitely all one isolate and not a MS or mix-bag of genetics.
As I said this usually happens in one jar per batch so water content, substrate levels, pc time, spawn, mycelial origin (isolate), materials, holes in lids, temperature, basically everything is the same per batch.
No contams can be found either as I tested on agar, as I though possibly the "hidden" inside section of the jar may have a contam stalling one side and definitely no contams are visible on jar edges.
ALMOST 1 EVERY BATCH??
Would appreciate to hear any thoughts on the matter, I currently don't see it as a huge problem it only affects the respective jars colonizing time but hopefully a good discussion topic for some!

What does that even mean? It's two sentences that make sense individually but not jammed together. Are they clones or isolates? Not that it matters.
Got pictures?

It is an isolate (a few transfers) made from a clone on agar I can upload pictures soon, but for now it looks like two inoculation points on either side of a BRF cake, one side is growing and the other side remains the size of a nickel (doesn't progress past day 4 or 5 of inoculation)

Sounds like the contents of the jar could be a lil on the dryer side. When my wbs is not hydrated enough i have the same problem. No contams, but wont finish. But i can usually tell that moisture is the reason. When u make ur mix, mix it well b4 loading each jar to even out moisture. That 1 jar u get each time could be the first one u loaded. Ie the firat jar is stuff u grabbed from the top of ur mix, water could have settled a lil and the top dried a bit. Who knows tho. I dont think any of us will be able to tell u what the problem is.
