Mono taking forever to pin

Hi guys,
I have a monotub that's been going on 5 weeks. The sub is completely colonized and shrinking away from the walls of the tub, but there are no pins showing. Humidity and airflow seem to be ok. Surface has been showing knots for about 2 weeks, but it seems to have stalled somehow.
Any idea what might be the problem and how to fix it?

I’m dealing with a similar issue with a shoebox I spawned from cakes. Pretty sure they were bacterial. How’d your spawn look. How was it inoculated?

Spawn looked and smelled fine. That's whats driving me crazy, I don't see anything that doesn't look like mycelium.

When I want to get my subs to start pinning I will lightly mist and fan at least two or three times a day.... Sometimes the forced airflow (wind) will stimulate pinnng.

let it do its thing. colonization of your bulk sub will start pinning. evaporation of moisture is the other.
wind?? eeeeh.

So the fact that it's been 5 weeks isn't a red flag then? It just seems a little excessive from what I've read on the forums.

Yeah but its very excessive, a normal healthy sub should never take that long to fruit..... It's not white mold is it? Just a thought....

That does look overly 'puffy', little if any signs of rhizomorphic mycelial growth which I always get on my grows. I dunno, just looks weird to me. Someone here should be able to give you a definite answer...

Not sure. Never had white mold before, so no really sure what to look for. All my previous grows looked pretty similar though.

I don't think it's trich since it's been that way for over a week. Trich would've gone green by now for sure. Didn't think ut was dry because of the condensation in the tub, but maybe you're right about that.

Bottom looks just like the top, just not puffy since it's flattened against the tub.

Not musy at all. Smells normal to me. You're right though, 5 weeks is forever.

Research Mycogone Perniciosa ..... Also known as "wet-bubble" disease. Idk, I'm just fishin' here, but you might want to take a look at some pics and see if your sub compares to wet bubble at all.... Sorry to be the bearer of bad news tho!!!
I would definitely get some more spawn going....
