Question about growing in a grow kit
    #24905259 - 01/11/18 10:36 AM (7 years, 6 days ago)

Hey guys,
I hope its the right section. I'm growing my first grow kit (Golden Teacher) from some norwegian online sellers and I take care of every requirement for the mushrooms. Fresh air exchange, ideal temperature, ideal humidity with a humidifier and not direct sunlight. Every day 2 minutes air exchange and every second day some water, not on the mushrooms, but from the inside of the bag.

The question is, why are they only growing on one place and not everywhere, like on many pictures and videos? What should I do after I harvest the ones that are harvest-able?

Yes, I know. People dont like grow kits so much, but at the moment I can't grow better due to my living conditions.

Thanks in advance for any help!

Two minutes a day doesn’t sound like enough to me, around here we call those choke bags and advocate making a proper fruiting chamber, either a mono or sgfc, at the least cut a slit or two into the bag. Fruits look pretty good, surface conditions dictate pinset, musta been just right where theyre coming and not on the rest. Or its multispore, that happens from faster genetic in some places. The reason people hate on kits is because theyre expensive, impossible to troubleshoot and usually come with a bunch of extra plastic shit youre just gonna throw away. The pre colonized kits are less taboo but still impossible to troubleshoot if they fail.

honestly that looks decent for a kit. shrooms love air. lots of people recommend poking holes in that 'choke bag'

after you harvest you either preserve the mushroom or you eat them:awesomenod:

You also hydrate and hope for another flush, either dunk in water for a few hours or mist heavily with a squirt bottle until the sub wont take any more. Looks good so far.
