So, about 2 weeks ago i started 2 trays and a minimonotub of B+ by spawning colonized Rye grains of B+. So far they have been in the fruiting chamber for 3 days. I just noticed the first pins forming and hyphal knots are EVERWHERE. I did not really work or keep the trays under sterile conditions. They colonized under my bed, i spawned them on the kitchen counter after Lysol and Clorox wiping but no still air box. Needless to say, they are not very clean kept. This goes to show that coir is incredible to resisting contamination! This is NOT a success yet, but it looks good. Here's some baby pin pics! Stayed posted within the next week to see how these trays came out. The monotub has not pinned yet, I'm think about casing it while I still have the time. What do you guys think? Oh and sorry for shit quality.

Coir is not heated to kill microbes, it's heated to change the structure so the mycelium can grow more easily on it.
