BRF cakes: 10 days and no pins, any suggestions?

I wouldn't be too surprised to find out that I totally forgot something important. They are 1 pint cakes of BRF. Perlite is about 5 inches deep. I mist whenever the cakes don't look very wet and I stopped fanning. sorry for the poor image quality and ignore my creepy teletubbies towel.

Did you allow them to consolidate after reaching 100%?

be patient it's only been 10 days.
if you are using the lids as stands for the cake you don't need the foil at all... that foil needs to be trimmed down. the cakes just need to be kept off of directly touching the perlite. with the smallest platform you can make.

I was misting them pretty heavily but they ended up blueing. I assumed this was from too much misting. Was I just misting too close to the cakes?
