I confess I've only used monotubs and trayss for pizza dough inside of a sgfc. Shoe boxes are are my next experiment, they look perfect to grow small amounts of different strains or species. That's what has kept me from doing multiple projects at one time, now I have no excuses.

Hey man that's awesome!  I just started spinning poi about 4 months ago and I spun fire once and really loved it.
I love flow arts and all these amazing festivals and music.  EDM like psytrance, medium-tempo basstrance and good trap music has really changed how I think and act.  It has cured my severe depression and  paranoid schizophrenia and I'm gonna start making it.
I Just bought a launchpad pro and I have a good mac, the main thing that's stopping me is I don't have a full version of Ableton live 9  and can't afford a $600 software program just to get started!  I'm using the trial version right now and know for sure now that this is the program I want....

I didn't even see this dude that's super awesome fire is the best

I started spinning like 2 years ago but this year I got black out wasted and was trying to learn to breath fire from this guy. He's like not till your sober I'm like ok sweet. Came back the next day expecting me not too wanna do it anymore.

Now I breath fire  it's made me try eating it as well which is super easy.

How ya been haven't seen you around in a bit.

I know. But I like the larger one better. I confess I'm still staring at this cordyceps culture on a petri dish I got today. It came with a little mold friend that lives far enough away from the actual specimen for me to feel comfortable transferring still. I'm going to use a potato flake agar which favors mold. This way I can weed it out quicker. I am not upset about the stow away since conditions were not great to begin with shipping in the dead of winter and it probably experienced a few thaws and freezes on the way here. I didn't pay much for it either since it was more of a favor and most of the money was for shipping. The mycelium still looks healthy. I'm crossing my fingers. I'm doing an emergency transfer tonight.

I confess I have decided to spray my hunting boots down with sugar water and dust them with all the spores from prints that are sub par or suspect. Does anyone have any recommendations for a eco friendly glue that will allow the spores to shed off easily but not to easy?

Ok, I'll try it. I was going to use the sugar to keep them from coming off to fast while walking in wet deep grass in the pastures, but if you think ot will work I'll try it. I put caps on my hat too so the wind blows them (spores) off while I walk around.

I got lucky, I have friends with cows and horses, plus I approached a few landowners about collecting research specimens. I love to teach so I try to educate the landowners while asking to access their property but I don't go solely for actives either. People love to learn about things growing on their property, learn some mycology and offer to identify whats there.

I think if you love the hobby you should learn a lot about mycology anyways. I went from walking around in the woods and photographing stuff to growing cubes to walking around the woods identifying and eating stuff. And then I started growing all kinds of things and cloning wild specimens. I'm just finishing up an article on the optimal carbon and nitrogen sources for cordycepin production. I'm one of the rare ones that can get completely obsessed and engrossed in something. A gift and a curse. My newest obsession is cordyceps.

When we gonna see a good cube grow with a full canopy from you cat? You seem to do well with oysters, but from what I've been told they're easier than cubes... I'm just giving you shit because it's 4am and I'm bored as fuck...

I was growing mold most of last year. In the last 2, maybe 3 weeks I have grown 1.5lb Dry. My flow hood really helped change things for me. Now I have 2 64QT monos pining as well as 2 25QT minis, a standard shoebox and 2 like 16Qt shoebox like tubs that should be popping off any day.

Since building the flow hood I have lost ONLY 1 tub to mold before 1st flush and all other mold came after 2nd flush. The one that I did loose before 1st flush was fucked up as the ENTIRE tub, top to bottom, started turning at the same time, but it was not the normal trich I encounter, it was a different green mold.

My last run I was shooting for 5# dry...ended up with 2zips over 3# first flush was gonna push it until I hit 5# but some shit happened that made me second guess it and I burried my subs...stupid people make me paranoid, and when stupid comes around I become very cautious

I know that feeling. I tend not to let new people come around easily. Only close friends and family really come around, and I keep shit in the basement. My sister know but not how much I grow. She thinks it is just a little bit. But she loves me and doesn't care what I do, she would NOT ever rat on me. The only friends that know our life long friends, like 20 years of my 32 year life. Brothers from another mother that would come help me move shit in a hurry if need be. Hell one of them is a stay at home dad like me so he doesn't talk to anyone or come over often. I usually have to go see him. One of them I have actually been friends with since I was 4, maybe 5 years old. Only people who have proven that I can trust them time and time again, over MANY YEARS, know. I value loyalty a lot and so do they.

I'm the same way.. My brother from another mother is my partner been running with him for about 15 years..and he would do the same for me, as I would do for him... I know for a fact he ain't saying shit or we'd be in prison for the shit we've done together... My mom knows too...but she sees how happy I am with my hobby and tries to help out sometimes...like out of the blue she brought me a 50lb bag of whole oats...she said I was getting chicken feed and thought of you...kinda fucked up but at least she got the right bag of oats

No jars were spawned... thankfully it’s mostly APE and can stand a little extra consolidation. One MS jar of AA+ can’t say the same... gotta stop being lazy with cult
