Knots or Trich?
    #24891488 - 01/05/18 09:29 AM (7 years, 12 days ago)

howdy folks, happy Friday to you :highfive:

I've gotten the fear. This looks like trouble....

what do you think?

should I launch into orbit and nuke this one from space?  :biggestnuke:

I am not a contam expert by any means but this could be contam

Here's my recent thread with very similar results. I had trouble taking pics but maybe you can reference it to see if it matches or not

Looks like trich in it's early stages. I'd nuke it from orbit. Wait for a TC to confirm though.

looks pretty close...
did you see it turn green before you tossed it?

I've had a few folks suggesting that it's forming blobs and not trich... I'll report back with my findings

cheers Skizor :cookiemonster:

Looks like some ugly blob action right now. sometimes you'll get that from over misting and wet substrate

Yea dude I tossed it.

I would also toss yours. The one guy said that letting mold in your space will contaminate future projects.

I can't take that chance.

If trich substrates fucked a room me and a lot of others would be having a bunch of issues. Its poor form to keep moldy substrate around but its not like it fucks you

Keeno didn't you say in another post the other day that you was trying that moisture Tek(can't remember who you said posted it but he got that kid with chocolate on his face for an avatar)?

Then quoting bod in another post they could be blobs due to being too wet. And I'm sure bod will agree.

Keeping mold around is not a great thing at all...no ot does not fuck you but having a clean area can be the difference between making past your first couple flushes.
Substates get weak after fruiting so a high sporeload with a weak sub will often mean contams will win...vacuum your floors once in awhile

Pretty fair to say any precautions taken will increase your chances of future success
