Venezuela is sinking fast economically, I would be wary of their coin if controlled by govt. The vef their dollar is millions to one usd right now and heading south.

BNB has shot up, neo too, rdd, is doing great and btc which many forum experts told us was about to crash has surged overnight. XVG is doing well while ripple has sagged and may be due for more correction.

Its almost worth while to jump on any cheap coin in hopes it will go up a bunch. Some are clearly scams but others may be good.

Agreed. Seems like a quick effort to squeeze by sanctions as well. They are backing it with their oil, but I think that one might be better off just putting money into oil futures if that's what interests them about it. It seems like a crypto designed to crash when convenient to cash out all it's value at once.

I just looked at enj and it has tripled since I bought it not long ago. I only bought 5k coins now I wish I'd gone heavily on it. VRG is doing well as is ada. BNB has gone from $5 to $13 or so. Its hard to lose money on cryptos right now though I managed to do it with iota. It should pick up later or so everyone seems to say.

I spoke wrongly about the vef, its not quite that cheap I was thinking of something else but they are in bad shape economically.

Avoid shapeshift.io, I have info from reliable sources they are not working well and it can take a long time for a reply from support.

VEF is trading at over 2 billion to 1 btc so the unofficial rate is much lower than the official rate, actually around 100,000 vef to $1. The official rate (10-1) is what tourists pay so govt can rip them off. Then take the $1000 you bought in vef and try to buy a hot dog, lol.

I was tempted to day trade some alt coins today. I just backed out though. Seems too risky right now so I'm going to hold my BTC.

I've only been watching the market for two weeks now so I could be wrong. I think the alts are going to drop to appropriate levels and that will push Bitcoin back up. If Bitcoin gets to $20,000 again or maybe $20,000 then we will see a huge influx of new money coming in.

Yeah. Lets bet some Crypto. I'm not sure what we are betting on though. That the alts will drop or that bitcoin won't go up? Or that bitcoin won't hit $20,000?

That the alts are going to continue to drop until bitcoin hits 20k and then another surge will commence.

If the alts recover before then you lose.

The bet is for 0.002 btc. (you can send an equiv amount of whatever currency you wish to dodge the steep fee)

Need a group of alts to pick from, a recovery level as a group percentage of growth that would be an acceptable trigger for the bet loss should the percentage be reached.

Fucking A, gentlemen.

I didnt have a clue what I had so I did a count of what my portfolio was worth if I sold it now.

Guess what, across my portfolio (which was quite modest, I'm not rich and I'm not about betting what little I have on 1 horse) the period December 5 - January 5 turned 3 dimes into a dollar.

This girl I know pulled a 20 out of her wallet little over a week ago and asked "can you do something with this while I figure out this crypto stuff?" I said "sure" and allocated Stratis for it, I was doing a buy anyway.
Its now worth 30 bucks :noyoudidawet:

Guh, just have slowly turned 7k into 4k, and seriously its been like getting out of a coin, only to watch it immediately explode, while whatever i sell into drops. I guess the emotional aspect is overwhelming haha. especially when everyone else is making a killing. feel cursed.

whats funny is i jokingly put $50 into the space for my brother in law, and thats worth nearly $1000. So my plays for other people are killing it, but my personal plays have been god awful. And I know what youre about to say, just do for yourself what you would do for your brother in law - NO it will not work. then we will both be broke.

sorry, just needed to vent. UGH Blast you Murphys Law!!!

Its your emotions dude, you're making good plays but you're hitting that panic button every time you see a drop. Move them into something and leave them for two weeks. Under no circumstance can you look at charts or anything until that two weeks is up. You'll break even.
