So i saw a thread abt a chap using a pin to inoc a rye jar, so i performed pin to rye in sab, and 7-10 jars survived my 1st run. Gtg to bulk, and i gatta say the genetics are awesome, the sub is healthier than ive anticipated, and i have a capp 33g wet dried at 4.5 gs (: Before you tc get at me like a wet dog, and say its more ideal to transfer a pin to agar then gtg to bulk, ive seen that too many times to hear again, i see what you mean with sterility but this is just a thing swim would do.
I know its not practical, and might be considerd contriversial, or a lazy way to get jars going, but i just wanted to share my experience.

Did u just drop a pin in grain? Ive heard of it, just seems like a low success rate. Glad it worked for u tho. I guess its the same thing as tranfering mycellium. Try doing it on agar now that u tried it on grain. Agars cheaper than grains, so u could make alot of colonized agar and tranfer that to ur grain jars instead of 1 pin for each jar.

DO NOT talk about selling of illegals on here. It is against rules. Some things need to be left unspoken.

It was to my understanding once veils tear, spores can drop, resulting in fewer if any flushes being it wont fruit ob simulated sub.

Ya broseph, I found out in my earlier years [by reading] that myc loves straw, i try to controll it from being visible on top level as its prone to contam easillier. But some pops up as i diddent have enough verm [added all pasturized verm to bulk sub mix upon gtg] i forgot to save a bit to add on top, ohh wells.
Thats and i must say, genetics feom ms from how i did this particular clone trasfer for these tubs. [i piked biggest juciest pin and trasferd to rye, performed in sab], are amazing!
