Yeah, I have been quietly unloading my Ripple over the past week...finally got it all sold, the last of it at over 7 times what I paid for it! I'll leave a small portion as XRP though, just in case it pulls another rabbit from its hat and decides to double again.

Neo has filled my tank with gas, lol. I'm still mostly in btc, I missed out on a lot of things. ADA is doing very well, rdd too, I'm staying out of ripple, doge and dash for sure. BTC is going to the moon soon. Perhaps not as much percentage wise as many alts but its the one which made my portfolio. I have no more than 50k in all my alts, so not super serious but have made money. More than working mcdonalds, haha.

I will check out those alts, might send a bit more btc after them. I find that lbc will send coin fast for a cheap rate if you have some on there. Its also a good tumbler but expensive to deposit unless you are sending in a bunch. Might get out of iota which has been a dog if I remember correctly. Have about 15k in it I think. I can't remember all I'm in let alone how much. Even space cadets are making money, its the new gold rush.

It's crash time! I sold everything off right in time. I'm planning on holding my money in bitcoin until everything bottoms out. Hopefully bitcoin goes up and I can get everything else on the cheap.

did you pull out at your ICX stop loss? I am still in, just wondering what your timeframe for this was.

The stops indicated for ICX have not been hit, as this position was initiated yesterday evening.  I suspect that this will become a core position that I will hold for at least several months.

Yeah, its like if you go heavy into an alt it drags but if you just put a few hundred or a 1000 into something and it shoots up you wish you had bet a bunch. But we should be happy for even a small winner. None of mine are really losers, iota maybe is the worst of the bunch and I put in over 10k on that one, around 15 I think

Crash time? I'm sure a few will go down, btc has done its crashing and is on the upswing, over 15k last I looked. Unless govt passes some draconian laws or something else happens I think coins will keep going up. I still think ripple is a scam, 100b is a whole lot, they put some into escrow but it will keep coming out 1b per month, I read. That means they will keep dumping coin into the market. BTC having only max of 21 mill and less than 17 in circulation is a much better bet from that point of view.

I will look into those alts, might be some extra loot for us. Asante I'm sure is taking notes to add to his portfolio. He plans to enter the ranks of crypto millionaires soon. If he can quit selling out too soon that is, lol. Ya gotta let them run, I made that mistake too and lost out on probably 1/2 mill at the very least just this last year. Not even talking about previous years mistakes of not buying and hodling, just this last year alone. This year has been very good so far even though its early. I should quit working and investing and just try to have fun but I keep going. Can't let any loot get away from me whether I'll ever need it or not haha. I plan to leave a bundle to various charitable and worthy causes. I should make a will I guess. But then the red cross for example might send a poisoned apple? JK

Yeah, I guess it wasn't too much of a crash. Everything was in the green when I left earlier. Then I looked again and everything was red. I thought it was coming down hard and fast. A lot of the stuff I was in crashed so it's a good thing I got out anyways

I've been hearing good things about getting lisk before February. What do you guys think about lsk? Anybody dabbling

Definitely identify with you on buy and hold, I have easily missed out on 20k by being too trigger happy. The market keeps giving me chances too, so hopefully I get one of these right.

For the time being I am out of all positions and all in BTC until something looks right. The Shroomery is pretty much my main source of info, as well as this cryptocartel thing someone here recommended. If anyone here hasn't joined that chat channel you should, they are accurate, and free. Even if you don't use their signals you can at least track the flow of the market.

You guys are crazy for getting rid of your ripple.

I honestly believe it has the potential to be the number one coin.

Also about the market, as far as I can tell the crypto market has a lot less money in it than other markets but I could be wrong.. as always.

Actually pretty smart to sell some ripple. It was overdue for a price correction with how extended it was. Makes sense to sell and have the option to take huge profits and reinvest back in ripple when it falls or into something else.

Regarding trading on phones.. be careful because phones are easy to hack. Probably the weakest link in the chain.

Can someone explain how what seems to be random cryptos can make such huge jumps overnight. When looking at the market for coins that have increased the most in the last 24hours everyday there is a different one that jumps by crazy amounts. A few days ago there was a coin that had a price increase of 1000% in less than 24hours. Where does the sudden interest come from for what seems like an unheard of coin?

Specify random cryptos.

Hype with some super low value coins can create quite a big increase.

I think it was McAfee that said it's easier for a coin to go from .01 to 1.0 than for a coin to go from 1.0 to 100 but it's the same percentage increase. There is an element of psychology.

Now imagine those random coins that are .0000001 you can get millions for very little fiat so a lot of it is speculation. A small amount of hype to pump one of those coins means people jump in in hope of fucking collosal gains.

There may be other factors at play, I don't know.

Ive started playing small coins almost exclusively. I keep most of my holdings in a few of the top 20 and move them around a couple of times a month, but my day to day trades are all on coins that have sub 10 mill cap, usually in the 1-5 mill range. Pickle Ricks are a thing btw.

I read that Venezuela has their own crypto coming out. That's all I know about it, but it will probably be a good investment if it takes off. Who knows with Venezuela though? It might tank.

They should just pick one of the good coins that is already out and use that instead of making their own. How many different coins do we need?
