Thinking of buying it. For those who have played it would you recommend it. Guessing Hitler doesn't come out of some portal he entered with his esoteric findings in the end to fight but have read it is short. Opinions? No spoilers please. Just if it is worth 60 U.S.

It was only $30 on the steam winter sale, but I ended up choosing PUBG over it. Seems like it could be pretty fun though

Yeah, I would pay for 30 for it. Will see if that sale is still on. Read that critics love it and players hate it. For 30 after Hellblade for 30 think I will buy it.
Like one doesn't tune into voices in their head without it being just a conditioned therapist. Just a joke. For gamers, everything doesn't have to be on topic all the time.

Disclaimer:
I do not own the new Wolfenstein.
That being said, I have played through a majority of the series, and have found the gameplay to be excellent and lacking at the same time. Half the time, I feel like I'm playing GTA with cheats, mini-gunning poor civilians and RPG-ing every cop as soon as they spawn. And throwing grenades. Off a roof they can't access. The other half the time, I feel like I'm playing dishonored on the hardest difficulty and trying to get a ghost play through.
Wolf games tend to be visual masterpieces of killing nazis with ridiculously overpowered weapons wielded akimbo. That's probably why the critics love it. The players likely hate it because Wolf games tend to be short and not offer much in the way of replay value, unless you're really into the GTA God-rampage mode. At harder difficulties, it becomes incredibly linear, to the tune of you have to use this weapon now, or die. Then switch to this weapon, or die.
I don't think it's worth 60, but I do want to get it.

Yeah, I get your post. Having played some of the series. Most people said wait for it to go on sale, it is to short. I look forward to playing it but I don't want buyers remorse, that feeling of getting ripped off. And I have a lot of games that I needlessly spent a lot on and put a half hour into it and was bored with it and was done.
Do you ever feel like playing a game is like the same feeling as work? And why the hell am I putting time into it and paying for it? I do. But with this one I like it from the research I have done but will wait when the price goes down.
