it was to wet but i squeezed it to feild capacity as much as possible before i used it.
I think it wasnt far off.
I think my biggest issue this run is FRESH AIR>
I now have tubs cracked right open with fan blowing in the room and window cracked.
The fruits are breaking veils already at 1.5 inches max. Very small fruits.
This has been consistant in all my grows. Rarely get large fruits.

Whats ur substrate depth? If its only 1"-1 1/2" that could be the reason theyre short. But u got a good amount of them.

2.5 inches.
I was following willys tek which was 2.5 inch deep and he has huge fruits.
mine is just coir verm and gypsum tho.
I wonder if the depth is the cause of small fruits. It is MS to.
But every grow iv almost ever done has resulted in small fruits like this.
Im beginning to think its not MS but my lack of FAE in this room or something.

Idk, i still get big fruits with no air exchange sometimes. Has that strain always performed like that? I mean theyre not even that small dude, id be happy with those. Big shrooms are over rated. Theyre usually tall cuz they got thin really hollow long stems. I like the fatter dense ones. Which is what it looks like u got. Maybe try switching to a variety known for size and see how it works out. My gts always give good size fruits. Didnt like treasure coast. Too thin and whimpy

First time iv done this strain. Its PESH.
Iv done other strains before and same thing , small fruits.
Im noticing my side pins are healthy and large compared to my surface fruits.
Perhaps this is a moisture humidity thing? If my side pins are looking healthy and larger than the surface fruits. does this indicate a moisture humidity issue causing smaller fruits? I mean i dont mind the small fruits , but these seems small because they are not getting what they need.
take a look

That's funny. I'm working with TC and PESH right now. Haven fruited yet, but colonization has been pretty quick.

Yea for me it colonised quick as well , really fast in the quart jars then pretty quick in the coir sub.
One thing as well , the surface of sub wasnt 100% colonised when introduced to fruiting. . It was a bit of a low spawn / sub ration unfortunelty.

I had the same thing happen in some small containers.Tons of pins, but small fruit.I think my issue may have been low FAE and maybe overly wet sub. They were Treasure Coast.

Im thinking the same issues affected me. I "pinch tested" my substrate and it it saturated almost what seems at feild capacity .
Yet my tub " looks " on the dry side , wall pretty dry almost completley.
Also you fruits still like hella fat.
I now have them cracked lids, super lose poly and fan in the room.
