Offering up my plan for advice and critique

Ladies and Gentlemen,
I am in the process of my first grow. Right now I have five 1/2 pint BRF jars fully colonized and ready to be birthed. I have a few bags of pasteurized manure from *read the rules.com* to use as bulk substrate. I also have some casing which I may or may not use depending on what advice I may get.
I have aluminum foil bread pans to use as my bulk trays. They're about 3 inches deep, which I've read is supposed to be the magic depth.
I have a few questions about the details. Any advice or input is appreciated.
Questions:
1.) Because of the volume of pans I'm using as trays....if I use one BRF cake per tray, the ratio will be 1:4 of BRF cake to manure...This should be optimal, right?
2.) I've read a cheese grater can be used to crumble cakes, does this mean sterile environment is no longer a concern?
3.) There is no need to dunk cakes that are being spawned to bulk, correct? Do I need to mist or add moisture in any way? Or just crumble and mix?
4.) After cakes are spawned to bulk in trays....should I add a layer of the casing I have?
5.) Once trays are filled with manure/BRF mixture...I cover with foil, poke a few holes, and leave undisturbed at room temp for 3 days....right so far? When do I remove the foil...always after 3 days or not until I see pins?
6.) Should the bulk trays be placed in SGFC while covered in foil and colonizing?
7.) The ambient room temp for my SGFC is about 70. I am assuming I will not need to head additionally above this....am I correct?
Thank you in advance for any help.

1. 1:4 is fine 2.once cake is fully colonized you can do everything else in open air aka spawn run, fruiting and harvesting 3.some people dunk before spawning to bulk, some dont. Regardless make sure your manure is at field capacity. 4.for cubensis casing is optional unless its pe then its best to case. 5. You can put in fruiting conditions anytime you want man. Some people put into fruiting conditions at the beginning of the spawn run. Some wait until 70% -100% colonization to put into fruiting conditions. Up to you man. 6. Thats fine. 7. Thats ok of a temp, they produce their own heat anyway.
Hope this helped man. Good luck

Ok, so first question. Ratio is a lil low but itll work if u get ur cake ground up good.
2. Not a sterile environment anymore. Be clean, but things dont have to be sterilized or excessivly clean.
3. If the manure is already pasturized. Open the bag, squeeze it to make sure they got the moisture right, only a drop or 2 with a good squeeze. Then yes just mix spawn with manure in ur tray. Use a liner or the mushrooms will eat ur aluminum
4. If ur growing cubes u dont have to. Casing just helps a bit but it also makes it take longer.
5. I would leave them covered for 7 to 10 days. Then place in ur fc. Yea room temps fine. Some people put directly into fruiting now. But i dont.
6. They dont need to be in the chamber till u remove the foil. Unless ur just putting them in there to store them which is fine. But u can keep them anywhere while they colonize.
7. Correct no heat. 70 is fine. Its like 65 in ky place right now and all my stuffs chugging along. Good luck.

Thank you for the responses.
If the 1:4 ratio is a little lean, I can actually pretty easily switch to 1:3 or 1:2. I think I'll go with 1:2.
I've seen a contractor bag cut up and used as a liner. I have some heavy duty ones in the basement, I will line the foil trays with those.
Thank you again, Cheers

I'll throw it out that I have verm on hand if it would be useful to mix w/ my manure.
Ahem....my manure meaning the pasteurized horse manure that I purchased.

Ok guys, I done it!!!
With your help I spawned five 1/2 pint BRF cakes to these three bulk trays by adding pasturized horse manure!!
I broke the cakes up with a cheese grater and just kinda mixed them up with manure and put them into the trays.
I did line each tray with a piece of a contractor bag.
Now here they are, covered with foil. I need to drill holes into my SGFC and once I do that I'll put them in there.
I will keep you all updated on the progress!

Like a half pt cake? Or the size u have? The amount of substrate makes a difference. Pints and half pts probly an 8th to a 1/4 oz dry

Everything else OP asked is basic stuff that he will figure out.
But #2 is a huge misconception.
Once the jar is colonized, and you birth/spawn? Nothing is sterile. Nothing needs to be at all. Its now a living organism that can fend off nasties.
Why people think this about spawning/birthing/fruiting is beyond my limited comprehension.
The only logical conclusion i can fall on is; some people cant not spawn/birth without tamming out because their approach to sterility when it matters is so laughably bad they think being 'sterile' post colonization is keeping shit from going bad.
Its a fairy tale. To explain failure to children and keep you ignorant.

Um mushboy. I told him things didnt need to be sterile anymore. But u dont wanna pick up dog shit then go touching ur spawn. Thats all i meant by just be clean anyway. I dont mean like break out the alcohol and torch lol. Just sayin do it in just regular clean conditions just because. And that way he cant blame it on the dog shit on his hand if it contams quick. Haha

If I get a yield that is anything like that I'll be thrilled.
Really excited for whatever I get with this first flush though.

If u take care of it, fresh air misting and light. And just be patient. Id say ud get an ounce dry on the liw end from each tray. But i use coco, ur using manure so u could get a lil more.

Happy New Year errybody!
It's been three days I've let my trays colonize. Today I peaked under the hood and this is what I saw....

seems like the mycelium is colonizing nicely, right?
My Question:
Should I uncover and move to fruiting chamber now that I'm seeing mycelium take hold or should I still wait?
Thank you again.
