Whats faster Agar to Grain or G2G???

Yesterday I did my first Agar to WBS with 3 pint jars.
I used BRF agar mixture by the way
I was able to use a little over a half of a petri dish for all 3 jars.
Keep in mind this is my first time doing this. It's been experiment week
I did use a lot of agar but I have like 11 petri dishes 100% colonized so I'm glad to use as much as I can haha. I'm not going to ration it out. I can easily make more agar at a later date.
I plan on using my agar jars for G2G after they are finished
I am just wondering what colonizes faster overall.
Agar to grain?
or
Grain to grain?
I will post pics of the weekly process

G2g colonizes faster than agar in my experience. There are just so many more points for the mycellium to grow off of compared to agar.
Agar to grain and then g2g is an efficient way to go.

Well g2g u can make go fast if u put alot of colonized grain in each new jar. But if u made a shitload of agar that would probly work better. Each dish could knock up a big bag of seed. But agar tskes more time i think cuz u gotta transfer alot b4 u get it clean, then transfer the clean myc to like 20 or 30 new dishes.

Depends how you slice the agar up or how many grains you use for the g2g. More inoculation points ,the faster it will spread and colonize.

Yea I went heavy as you can see from the pics.
Some people I have seen put a spec of agar in each jar.
I felt the need to overkill it and see what happens
