That's some really nice work you got going on sir.
Thanks faht. I've been waiting a long time to finally get to this point. A lot of failures from contams to bad surface conditions. I just hope I can maintain this consistency.

Contams from bad surface conditions? You either let your shit dry out or mist it till you waterlog it, either way would be an indication you're doing something wrong if the surface dries out or if you need to mist a lot, unless you're doing an open air grow. None of those cause contams, bad spawn does.
Edit: oh sorry, I read too fast and have some blood in my alcohol.

he was saying his failures included contams and bad surface conditions. i dont think he ment the bad condition caused contams.
just yah know... you solve your contam issue only to botch the fruiting
thats how ive been growing all year. get really good at one part, expand and become terrible all over again

You nailed it mushboy. I'd fix one area, just to get screwed in another. Then winter set in just as I achieve clean spawn, my surface conditions went to shit. House was down to 17%rh. Cold dry air, in a house heated with cast iron radiators. It took a lot of humidifiers and some other shit to get me dialed in for "winter" conditions.
I think I have enough "tuning" variables in my fruiting area to dial in for any season now

Spore count in the air goes down significally during the cold winter months, especially if the ground is covered in snow. Maybe you are experiencing the effects of this since your success rate improved as the winter weather approached? Also worth noting is that outdoor mold spore count actually double in count from one day to another when there is rain or a storm.

In the warmer months I had a window AC that I believe was my issue. It created a spike in my spore load. I'm hoping I can install central air before the warmer season begins.

Couldn’t edit my previous post to add these, but here’s the cap on foil and getting ready to print. Yesterday marked a full month since I put my cakes into fruiting conditions. This cap is as big as a 1/2 pint wide mouth.
First print attempt from my first grow at the tail end of it all.

Here are pics from the last few days.
These are cakes I made using glad square 5 cup containers. They were nocked up with an old MS LGT LC. I started out with case and top fruited but 2 got some strong side pins so they came out of the containers for improved yield. Not bad considering each cake has about a pint of grain.
The 3rd one I harvested today and took as a genetic x-mas present from the mushroom gods. It was mostly 2 large clusters with a bunch of fruits around 6 inches tall. Gave a little over 260g. I felt like these needed cloned so I took 4.
