How is this looking? First attempt at bulk runs

So I decided I wanted to try my hand at a mini mono type tub for my 1st steps into the bulk scene, I found these mondi seedling trays at my local grow shop and thought they might work out awesome so I figured I'd give it a shot!
I spawned my tray with 1 pound of rye berries that were noc'd with the Mexican Huatula strain into 5 pounds of a bulk substrate comprised of verm, gypsum, dehydrated horse manure, organic zoo manure, and some coir. I spawned the tray on the 12th of December arround 6pm, my question is should I wait till full colonization then add a casing layer of damp verm since I work long days and can't always be home to mist. Or should I case the sub now and wait till I see signs of myc pushing through to fruit it? Or should I just forget the casing and fruit in the dome and hope it holds moisture?
I'm also waiting on some pes amazonians, golden teachers, and treasure coast to turn into shoeboxes after reading through mushboys tek. And I'm waiting on some Puerto Ricans and some Malabars to colonize some pf cakes!
Also almost a month after I put my Burma spawn bag into fruiting it's showing pins lol I almost trashed it thinking it was bunk.

First pic looks good. Give it a few more days. No need for a casing. Second picture all looks good. Third picture looks good, but is too wet. Up the FAE and decrease the misting. Soak those yellow puddles up with a paper towel.

Thanks for the reply hamloaf! So even though I'll be gone for up to 12 hours working 5-6 days a week you wouldn't suggest a casing for the tub?

It'll likely be just fine. You want to keep the RH up, but in Florida that's pretty much never a problem.

Lol yeah I also grow in a small walk in closet with a humidifier so it stays between 70-85% RH.

I like to hear the advice on swabbing extra moisture up with paper towel- I've done this.
I had a 3rd flush bin looking dry- hollow/weak stems. even after dunking the sub and misting regularly. I thought, fuck it, they want water. I poured maybe 12-16oz of water around sub in between mushrooms and within hours they all looked happy and double in size.
obviously this isn't ideal with a mono tub but it was the last push.
my thoughts are- once you have mushrooms growing on a clean substrate they are resilient to and accepting of poor/positive environment changes.
make adjustments

Yeah when my first flush was falling behind I dunked the sub to hydrate it and now a month later they are finally fruiting.

Yeah and burmas are massive shrooms compared to the huatula I just got done with so maybe they needed that extra water content to fruit cause now they are exploding! I'll update pics when I get home and y'all can tell me if this tray is ready to go into fruiting.

So here's an updated pic of the tray and some bulk cakes I've got going on. The one sitting in the sgfc is on its 2nd flush and putting out some giants and the one in the bag is still doing its first flush a month or so later lol but putting out bigguns!
When do you think I should put the tub into fruiting? I'm thinking the 1st of the year.

First pic looks ready to fruit. You can do a casing layer of just damp Coco. I'd say it's fully colonized. and you other ones shouldn't be taking around a month to fruit. What temperatures are they in? are they consistent? I had cakes taking over 2 weeks to fruit and wouldn't budge. Just lots of pins that weren't developing. I dropped the temp 5 degrees, stabilized it so it didn't fluctuate and they all developed basically overnight. You need consistent Temps, Surface Humidity (not RH - misconception), FAE.

The 3rd pic is the only one that took a month to finally fruit, the other bag is on its 2nd flush and only wants to fruit from the sides:/ and the tub I might wait a couple more days cause one corner is just a bit behind I see.

It's fruiting from the side because it's receiving light there. Light isn't needed to grow fruits but it is a trigger for them. Duct tape around the sides if you want it to only fruit from the top. Or use black plastic in your tubs so it will only fruit out the tops

Light doesn't always cause side pins. More than likely it's because your sub has shrunk slightly and there is a great micro climate for pinning on the sides of your tub.

Light isn't a pinning trigger
