Hi guys, I am a newcomer (my first forum experience ever) and my english is not that good. Although I read all the rules before posting it could be that I am not doing things as they are supposed to be done, so if that's the case, please accept my apologies. My friend has noticed that these brown spots have appeared on the caps of his mushrooms (he's a noob in this field). We read that it could be due to water dripping on the caps from the bag, or it may be something more serious. Although we know this has been discussed many times, unfortunately we found not enough good pics (some were deleted and some other were low quality) so he decided it was better to post his. Do you think that these are safe to eat? Thank you for your patience.

They look like little bacterial spot probably due to droplets of water pooling on the caps...i thinks the are safe, but wait some other opinion!

thank you for your reply, funga. As you can see, these mushrooms are kept in the same bag together with other strains...if this should be a case of bacterial contamination, do you think they should be kept in different bags so as not to damage the other strains?

Psuedonmoneuas, caused by water droplets not evaporating completely before you misted again....dehydrate them or make tea with them and you're good..I'm pretty sure I didn't spell that first word right

I think that is more important focus on keep them at the right humidity and without standing water on em more than anything...
