The blue is most likely bruising especially if it showed up after the fruits

I really think your ok id let it ride long enough to snatch up a spore print anyway .  Maybe pm a trusted cultivator and get a second opinion but I personal have fruited cakes that look way worse and then consumed witb only desired effects

Fanning a SGFC is kind of like fanning a plastic tub that has 500-800 holes in it on all sides :lmafo: jk

Save yourself the trouble of 'fanning' cause it does´t provide FAE, it only creates air currents inside the tub for as long as you´re fanning, when you stop fanning the SGFC returns to be fully operational again. I know some experienced growers say that ´fanning´ a SGFC helps the evaporation process from the perlite but the SGFC was never designed to be fanned at all. GL

yea ive never even seen a split stem at all. but a cake in open air doesnt seem like a good idea for someone new. why do u have it outside the fc?

looks like a mutation. why is there verm inside the mushroom stem?

You have pins, so thats a good indicator. Did you case your cakes properly?
Do you mist them as one should? Do you have a proper SGFC?

ANd please give us pictures of the WHOLE CAKE AND THE FRUITING CHAMBER.

From what I CAN see I THINK they look dry but that's just my take from a few of the not so best pictures.
I've only ever had stems split in that condition.

I could be way wrong here though.

Mateah pretty much covered the fanning...

Back to the dry thing, I've also had mycelium turn blue on me from being too dry.

Regardless -> " Golden Teacher Fruiting first time! PLEASE TELL ME IS NOT THE WORST" -> ...
It is not the worst!

You've got growth and I don't see any contams. Even if it's not perfect dude it's a great start.

Someone else mentioned a meter. You can pick up a crappy electronic one at lowes or alike for around $10.
Until you get enough experience to just know by looking, you really should have something to watch your RH.

The cakes have dried out, they arent cased properly, they sit in some fucking small bathub not in a proper SGFC. OP is obviously not following the PF TEK properly. The mycelium may fruit but as far as I know these are the last fruits OP will see unless he cases his cakes, builds a proper SGFC and explains his actions to us. If OP thinks one hour or wo isnt important he should know that once the surface has dried too long it will start to decay and contaminations will soon fester. He may be happy for now smoking a joint and waiting for santa but in 2 days time (or even less time) its over for these cakes. Thats whats wrong.

OP, just pick off the fruits and dunk the cakes for 6-24h, roll them in dry verm and place them inside the FC and do not mist until the next day.

Im sorry to come off as such a sour puss, but if no one cares, what was the purpose of waiting one and a half months for it? This isnt the first time I see cakes just being abandoned or "forgotten". I just dont get it.
