Jars not showing growth...

I always DO rye berries soak 6-24h, then boil for 10-15min depending on the soak. Then I pc for 1hour 15 psi. Then inoculate 1cc of lc and Keep jars in exactly 24 degrees celcius. No signs of growth after i open the jars and also No bad smell, like i did not inject. I tried the same lc on a pf cake and it worked No problems. So i thought the moisture content was of and did the simmer for 45min. Same as before No growth.... I dont know what the problem is.. What the fuck is wrong seriosly!!!??!

Hmm very weird sounding problem your having, well it doesn't seem to be your LC because it noc'd the pf cake up... have you tried that lc on any other type of grains or wbs?

You have to PC for at least 90 minutes. Even longer if you live at a higher elevation.
And you don't want to open your jars during colonization. You opened it up to contamination. You smell the substrate through your SFD.

That's not a long enough time to really do shit... shoot up your next jars and just leave them alone and if you still don't see shit in like 3 weeks then somthing is up.

Yep already done that, been a couple of days and No growth, il wait 2-3weeks then look again. People usually get finished jars in 10-14 days and i cant belive i need to wait 3weeks to se some signs of growth. In that rate i will wait for months for One jar...

Yes thank you. I already know not to open the jars and smell them. I opened them up because I saw no growth smelled it then tossed. I live in Scandinavia I don't know if that would be considered high elevation?

Its been 4 weeks, very minimal to no growth. All My pf tek jars showed growth after 24hours and took of. The grain jars look dead. Could it be a GE problem. I have polyfill lids that are tight fitting?

The poly is not too tight, GE is not the issue. Have you fruited the BRF cakes that were from the same LC? Did you make the LC from spore solution?

Havent fruited the BRF yet but growth is steady and no contams. Spores were done to lc then lc was tested on agar. Clean looking growth.(Ecuador) I have another lc that was cleaned on agar Texas PE6 same results anyhow. Something is Up. It may be moisture content issues.

It is organic! I dont think it has fungicide, could it survive a pressurecooking run?

Spores first to LC and then to agar hehehe, God bless you
Definitely sounds like your grain prep if you have good growth on BRF from the same LC. I have not prepped anything else besides WBS but I somehow feel that 10-15min simmer is a bit short for hydrating grain to the max.
I did experiments with hydration methods with WBS it´s in my main threads you can check it out if you want.
Also if the surface of the grain dries out then myc will have a really hard time colonizing it. But in your cakse you don´t even have a leap off on grain so that´s really weird.
The best tip I can give you is do more field capacity tests on your grain during prepping and take notes. GL

How do i know when the grain is at t field capacity? How do you prepare tour grain?

I do a 60 min hot soak, like in this
And then you can see the results with colonizing jars here. GL
