they are far too small and immature to properly ID but Alleniis caps are more fraile, soft, britle. Cyans are quite meaty,flexible and tough.

Those gills do not match with Allenii either.

i'll send you Allenii prints if you want.

Other way around! It has as much to do with genetics and quality of the substrate as it does species, but the tissue in caps of Ps. alenii is typically more dense. Try weighing equal volumes of the two species, the difference can be dramatic.

As far as the identity of the mushrooms in question goes, the first set of photos showing drier specimens could be Ps. allenii, but the second set of photos appears to be good old P. cyanescens.
