Last spring, I came across a stump with a small chunk of reishi still attached to it. Somebody had already harvested the majority of the fruit. So I just broke off a few small chunks that were left and tossed them in a bag and put them in my closet. Weekend before last, I found them while I was cleaning, so I decided to finally put it some agar. I PCed some jars of sterile water and bathed my transfers in them before plating them. It worked really well, and I got clean plates on the first go round!

Thanks guys. I'll probably go back for more. I found another bag a few days later. I cooked them up with rice and vegetables with some pine nuts and added some spices and soy and nutritional yeast. Also threw in some chickpeas. Oysters go great with chickpeas. I still got plenty more even though I gave some away. I';m going back to collect more tomorrow since there were lots of pins. I can freeze them.
And holy fucking cluster fuck of oysters. Look at these guys fruit.

I put this in shiitake thread but thought I'd share it here too. Opened bags this morning, found this in-vitro pin.
Just weighed it 87g it little over 3 oz.
