Quick question for the jar tops on a popcorn substrate should they be turned upstide down like in the PF-Tek or left the normal way?

if you use a regular lid, you're going to slow down the colonization a ton. go to your pet store and look next to the aquarium filters for polyfill (synthetic cottony stuff 2 bucks for a 200 jar supply)., jam some through a hole on the top of the lid and put it seal side down. more (filtered) air exchange= faster colonization and lower risk of contaming
