umm, I think you're confused. Picking wouldn't be (and wasn't) a problem - it's playing the fretboard which would be hard.

i'm still in the middle of this book ( like around page 300 )
i put it on hold a while to finish a stephen king book i got, and when i came back i was a bit lost

it's a pretty good book, a bit too technical and namey for me though.  there are some awesome parts, but if you want an absolutely amazing book on the dead, Home Before Daylight.  it's Steve Parish's stories.  it's written in very basic english, and has some of the funniest and wildest(and also saddest) stories i've ever heard, i love that  book so much, but it's kind've short.

what's cool is i've been reading it around the campus, and deadheads have been coming up to me and chilling.  I guess without the book i definately wouldn't look like i'm into the dead(not that i look like some thug/rocker, i just don't look like i belong anywhere)

nah, it was my first stephen king book and it was a short one so i wanted to check it out, it was pretty nice, "The Girl who Loved Tom Gordon"
but yeah, the book was kind've getting dull after a bit.. some of the shit get's so technical, like setting up the PA system etc, or people who knew people who knew people. It has a lot of very detailed information in their stories, but they just didn't amuse me the same way they did in Home Before Daylight

my dad actually gave me the book and quit reading once he got to page 60--i think i skipped the first few pages myself
i could Never put down the other book though
