TLDR; if we are talking anything non documentary, Entourage must be leading the conversation. By far best comedy TV show all time.

I'm sure if I wanted to I could think of a better example but Elementary was the first thing that jumped to mind. I'm going to be extremely sad when it finally is canceled. I think season 5 (maybe even 4) was supposed to be the last but apparently season 6 has already been approved. There's really no other show I anticipate as much as Elementary. Some shows I used to but have since become far less interesting and exciting, like Walking Dead.

Twin peaks, Sopranos, True Detective 1, Eric Andre, South Park, Curb your enthusiasm, Family Guy, Better Call Saul, Breaking Bad, Boardwalk Empire, Aqua Teen, Always Sunny, Kenny Vs. Spenny
Those some of my favorites in descending order.
I haven't seen any of the new Netflix shows yet.

LMAO QFT.
I'm not gonna lie, years ago I would watch it if I was scrolling through the channels, stumbled across it and nothing else was on, but it being listed as one of the greatest shows of the millennium is quite funny. The acting alone in that show is laughable with how awful it is, even a lot of the bigger name actors/actresses are just god awful in that show. 
The story line itself is pretty dumb, struggling actor and his friends smoke weed all the time and land opportunities that fall through, they get all upset and feel hopeless, episode ends with good news. Rinse and repeat for a grueling 8 seasons.
To each their own though, I know plenty of people who loved that show, but I personally think they have an affinity for horrible acting displayed by no longer relevant D-List celebrities.

You are the only other person who mentioned The Sopranos. How can there be a thread on the best shows of this millennium, and nobody mentions The Sopranos? That is utterly ridiculous, I brought it up twice, now three times in this thread just because I was so shocked nobody mentioned it.
