No PP5 is safe, its the type commonly used in no pour plates. I actually have a tonne of pp5 petri dishes so i can resterilise them and reuse over and over.

What tubs are you using for no pours? I just made my first ones the other day with some like 4 4 a quid or something like that from Willis but they are a bit to big for my liking.
I'm also in the market for some cheap LC containers. I made some for some 400ml screw top beakers from wilko. Ships and whatman filters. They leak when I shake though. Might need to silicone around the lid parts.
Bought a magnetic stirrer and it didn't work had to send it back.

Poundstretcher do some small ones which have slightly "cloudy" bottoms and brightly coloured snap on lids. They're like 6 or 8 for 99p only downside is visibility not perfect. I found them to be good for the method where you dont/barely touch the whole agar puck with a scalpel to transfer it to grain because they're much smaller than the jar's opening.
Failing that you can use these kind of things,
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/4oz-Heavy-Duty-Round-Food-Grade-Baby-Storage-Containers-Pots-Tubs-100-BPA-FREE/381665789893
I dunno if size is perfect for this listing in particular but I had some nopours of this style (basically takeaway/deli sauce containers) which stayed clean for literally 5 months and only went dodgy after I uncaringly, roughly moved them to clean the agar out (I've not done mycowork for a very very very long time and won't be for ages, no real reason to atm. Never say never though. Put myself some cultures in the fridge, can't stand the wait for spores to germinate.)

Wilkinsons have some good little pp5s with the snap on lids that are good for agar.
For grain jars, I've been using these for a few years;

They're not that clear, but the lids are really sturdy - i get them free from places i work, but if you buy ones you want to eat, they're more value than buying empty glass jars.

keeno said: the internets says it has a melting point between 130 and 171 degrees Centigrade... how hot does your PC get? I'd say contact the seller, they'll tell you. and if they fuck up, they can refund you
that is a melting point, actual melting, not deformation which is what can fuck things up. Thick PP containers will hold up in a PC, cheaper thinner PP, like takeaway containers or cheap poundland containers will not. They might be fine at 5psi or so. I have had many BD syringe degrade over time after PCing at 15psi.
PP means polypropylene, the 5 is just a plastics/resin code indicating it is also polypropylene. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Resin_identification_code
So you might find some container simply stating PP, with no 5, while another with the same might state PP5. More rarely you might find a plastic stating it is "5" with no PP/polypropylene indication. Some might have no codes at all. I very simply test plastics in a microwave, stick them in a bowl or glass jar of water and microwave them so they are boiled for a few minutes and see the outcome, unsuitable plastics will be immediately obvious, others might require more testing.

Sent me something that cost 4.5 times more than the pc. They said i dont have to return it until after i receive my pc. Said they would email me a return label straight away. No where to be seen many hours later. With my luck it will be one of these things where they dont even want it back or chase it or charge me for it. But then I'm not going to use it and its 110v so finding a buyer will be hard lol.

110V is nice n all, and so are travel plugs, what's less nice is plugging in an expensive 110V device into a EU/US travel plug into a 230V socket without a converter and starting a fire, effectively destroying your precious free extra.
So what did you get? We're all dying to know by now...
