Yes. Once they get the taste for grain. That's all they want. And they tell there friends and family. Next thing ya know.

A few mold spots still remain but I'm seeing multiple signs of myc growth also¬

Uh, why are you posting my pictures as your own? And telling fools it's mold and shit.

That's from the Tek in my signature. No need to steal other people's work or fake it til you make it. Just keep growing.
Just another reminder because we know you're lurking this thread afraid to say anything.

I can't understand why someone would do that. Who wants credit for something that you didn't do. Must feel good. Or something.

Ok so I just fired up the flowhood. I let it run for an hour prior to use. And here's stinky helping me do grain.

yesum definitely use foil with these, I did a batch of cakes without foil and a lot of water was able to get in and they had a bad muddy wet spot on the top of every one.
Might not be much of an issue with grain lids, especially if they are prepped slightly dry like I do, but it's so easy to foil might as well.
Jars on the top row when on thier side don't need foil because water doesn't pool up on the filter and seep through.
Idk if that can be a mold problem but that shit can get in from sterile tek when least expected...
keep some test jars unopened once sterilized to see if you get any mold in them.
that will tell you if it's a lid/filter failure.

Thank you Krispy for the advice. I have our main supply in container's. I live in the country. This happens all the time here. Starting to get used to it. If it ain't the rats. It's the possum's. If it ain't the possum's. It's the raccoons. It's funny. Nobody has a clue as to what goes on here at my house. Except for the woodland animals. They know exactly what's going on here. Lol.
50 grain jars coming up.
Ok so someone asked how long it takes to nocc up 90 jars in front of my flowhood. We're going to find out right now. Normally it would be 100 and not 90 but I did a run yesterday with just my 2 941s
Bad news. I ran out of paper towels. Thought I had another roll but I guess not. I think my wife used it for the kitchen. Anyways I can't go anywhere because I'm PCing jars but I have to get paper towels. I make my own alcohol wipes. I'm sure most do. So I'll do that after these jars are done.

I had Norwegian roof rats once. They are paranoid of ANYTHING new. So traps didn't work. I used poison and learned a very harsh lesson about rotting corpses in my house walls I was so mad I chased them with a sword, Very tough buggers vs. piercing. I never got one.

I'm beginning to think there should be a thread on keeping rats and other pests and rodentia away lol. Seriously though. I've caught them live. And released them with a homemade bucket trap. I've tried the ultrasonic sound emiiters. I've tried every method there is on catching rodents. Live and dead it seems like.

Ultrasonic emitters worked for me AFTER I got rid of the nesting ones. I guess new rats prefer not to choose a noisy home but previous tenants just dealt with it.

And once they get a taste for the myceliated grain. That's what they want. They will dig through trays to get to the good stuff with no remorse. I had some ruin a 15 tray grow in the matter of a few hours. Lol

No brother. Not paranoid. There a real threat. Exspecusly living in the country. I guess they could be just as bad living in the city too. If your not growing in a tub I would definitely have traps out.

My exact thought. Thanks Ino.
Pretty sure there was a glitch with the pic posting the other day. Someone else tried to post some o’s and another user’s pic of cubes drying came up. No reason for acidninja to get a bad rap for a site glitch.
