2 941s.......1 23quart presto and 2 16 quart prestos. I do 50 jars a cycle with the 2 941s and the taller presto. I use the 16 quart prestos for boiling water. Pretty much. And hydrating grain.

Those jars aren't inoculated yet. There cooling. I'll nocc them up in the AM. As far as how long does it take to do that there. I'm not exactly sure to be honest. I'm usually stoned as fuck and time just kinda fades away when I'm using the flowhood.

I'll report back in the morning. On how long.

Currently working on some in the SGFC.  Got 4 or 5 cakes that have some adorable lil' pins sprouting out of 'em.  Very excited, first pins/grow ever.

Hell yeah, start bottom watering those pinning cakes if you haven't already. What variety are those?

Welcome to the shroomery!

I fell in love with mycology a little over a year ago, I just wish my gf felt the same. I really gotta get some edibles going, I just haven't done the research and material sourcing to do edibles just yet. I'm gonna start with oysters but I still have yet to find a source for straw. I know plenty of people that cut hay, but no one who cuts straw.

here's that 110quart tub. With 2 bricks of coir and 9 quarts of spawn. A clone I'm testing. Spawned on 12/1

My wife is a incredible help. But we but heads when working together. So now she just stays out if it. Lol. Says I'm too confrontational. Lol.

I appreciate the hospitality!  I just started bottom watering them tonight.  It's funny, when I was trying too hard a week ago and was checking on them all the time / babying them they never pinned and started to look like they were getting stressed out, but when I let the sgfc do its thing and stopped drenching them in mist and checking on them more than 2x daily they started to take off.

Hope you put some fresh MP tape on them because all the lids you got had already been used several times you and it looks like some don't have any tape. I have found that ez felt can fail from multiple uses and the fix is simply adding at least one layer of MP.

The mp should last a few cycles but I like to replace it every 2-3 times. And I double it up to make it better and to stiffen it up for reliability/durability while wet.

Yes I took your advice and put fresh tape on all of them....I haven't been using foil on them during PCing, today I put foil on all of them during the PCing. I'm still getting random green here and there. But it's weird because it's not usually threw out the jar. Just on the outside edge between the grain and glass. Not sure why. I'm very sterile when doing innoculations.

pinset improving, and mutants are growing.
i had it near a cracked window a few nights ago, and it got almost to freezing. They are growing ok, but there will be quite a lot of double heads and feet mutants on this tub. I am glad it is still growing properly , and had enough moisture to keep it from actually freezing.
