never heard of it .. if its like a brick that is bbrown and u can break chunks off that expand several times there size in water, then yes it is

well no its not. if its made from PEAT it is nothing like coco coir which is made from COCONUTS.

its actually called coco coir peat. are you sure thats different from coco coir? The picture shows it in a brick form.

haha that is a little confusing...From reading that text I gather that it is just coco coir, no peat. I guess they call it coco coir peat to infer it's use as a peat substitute. google defines peat as organic material composted underwater, basicaly. So that would be an inacurately named block of coco coir. hope that helps...:grin:
