He said he has a heart condition, was unresponsive and that the emts cracked his sternum during compressions when they found him in a ditch.

Around here every time a under age college kid is take to the hospital for over drinking the cops get called, at least it seems that way. Numerous times I have been delivering pizza to the ER workers to see a drunk kid come in on a stretcher only to see the cops come in a few min later asking where they are. I just don't trust doctors not to narc. Maybe it is only if they call 911/paramedics for them?

actually they also do if you are a danger to yourself or others. it also makes sense that a 911 call will get all emergency units to respond

Ok I never heard that part. If he needed chest compressions then he was in bad shape. I have just read enough post about people going to the hospital because they couldn't handle it.

Sadly this is the reason they made shrooms illegal. So I am sorry for having a biased opinion about people going to the hospital for tripping.

a hefty dose can definately exasperate heart conditions. I apologise for jumping to conclusions aswell. I missed the actual story and was merely throwing shit out there. I'm glad you're okay MT!

I think its a good practice to tell yourself beforehand that anything you experience while tripping is a temporary hallucination and the entire experience will pass in time. I have been lay down and wait it out high plenty of times, I know my boundaries well. I'm not sure about the black out thing, it's difficult for me to imagine but I know crazy shit can happen. I have seen people be fine on a given dose one trip and not on a similar dose another trip. And I confess, I'm not going to share too many details due to anonymity but I knew someone who had a medical reaction and died from some white blotter that the rest of the crowd had been gobbling down for months and months. I never knew the actual source but we all considered it to be clean stuff made out of HBWR seeds. According to first hand accounts there was weed, L, and I think maybe nitrous. A day and a half before there was Coke. First this person got lethargic and complained of s headache, then it was a coma, then it was brain dead. It rocked the whole crowd to our cores.

Oh, btw
Happy turkey day

Knowing I can use my grain soak water for LC and agar, makes me feel wasteful pouring it down the drain. But there is just no way I need that much LC and agar, lol.

I know ppl that could handle heroic doses and others that would lose all mental capacity to make any sound decisions with just 2g's. We're all different. I know ppl that can drink for days and don't remember a damn thing and others that can barely handle a few sips. Everyone reacts differently to toxins in their system. Every aspect of your life from the day the seed was planted affects you differently from the next seed. My parents were douches while you didn't even have any while the next person was born with a golden spoon in their asses. Vive la difference!!

I agree 100%, well put.

How da FUQ you end up in the hospital from shrooms? All you got to do is tough it out and the shit ends. Hell with some strong mental tricks you can fight back against the trips.

Lol it wasn't a bad trip by any means. Skmeone else had called the ambulance for me. I felt great and was just goin along with it. I have a heart problem so I just wrote it off as that but as soon as I got To the hospital I checked myself out. It was just a weird experience. I felt amazing the whole time, I can't really explain what was going on In my head.  But there was no fear .

I’m confused...
You’re saying it wasn’t no big thing but mycolorado says the EMTs cracked your sternum while giving you CPR while you were lying in a ditch?!
Glad you’re ok... but to me getting cpr while lying in a ditch is not my idea of a good trip.

But I guess  something happened while hiking through the forest and the mushrooms that led me to being found In a ditch by the side of the road. The weird thing was that I never remeber it being a bad trip, I remeber being stuck in my body unable to move or open my eyes, but not being scared at all. The ambulance came and I could hear voices but couldn't move, they did chest compressions which eventually fractured my sternum and did a defibrillator on me. When I finally came to in the hospital they said I was totally unresponsive...

I think we all had that initial gut reaction of “what a chump” until he filled in the part about having a heart condition. Glad he’s ok and it’s a great example of why one should always titrate up.
