Terrarium Not completely closed!!

My terrarium is sealed so firm that my new U S humidifier is having trouble pumping into it, to get the dame thing going I had to slightly open the lid about the size of half a toothpick. 

Has anyone had this before & what would you Shroom'rs recommend I do about this?  :confused:

If there is air coming in there needs to be a way for air to come out. I personally have a PMP and do not even seal the top at all, the lid being closed on it has been found to be enough for me.
