New Season Ps. Semilanceata
    #2479402 - 03/27/04 11:37 PM (12 years, 8 months ago)

Here are some pics of some new season Ps. Semilanceata I picked yesterday in lower South Is., NZ. They were growing in coastal pasture. Sorry about the quality they were taken using my cellphone

I managed to pick about 1000 in total. The pic at the bottom is of some of the bigger ones. I'm glad the season is finally underway

Is anyone else in NZ having luck yet? I'd be interested to hear what else is coming up.

hey winelover
Where in the alps? queenstown way or further north? I heard that hidden cameras are being set up at spots in Wanaka!

Did you get semilanceatas? Find any other types over there? Any pics?

Sorry Winelover. Thi9s one was intended for Haunted. THERE ARE NO LIBERTY CAPS IN THE ALPS UNTIL THE FALL MONTHS. THEY DO NOT FRUIT IN EUROPE IN THE SPRING.

hmm? who said anything about Europe? We've been talking about Southern Alps, South Island, New Zealand.

It is currently Autumn (Fall), and the Ps. Semilanceata are fruiting in good numbers. Did you not see the photos?

Sorry but the majority of the world considers Swiss, French and Italian when you say Alps, especially since they are well known worldwide, and apparently only someone from New Zealand would know about any New Zealand Alps.

Ive been there and never knew about them.

Yeah, but an equal majority of the world knows that there's no Queenstown in the vicinity of the European alps, so it was pretty obvious this was NOT about the European alps...
