The current tax legislation

The current bill looks like it was crafted by a cartoon villain. These people are not even making the merest pretense of trying to hide their nefariousness anymore. These swine even threw the Obamacare mandate in there, while they pulled over $150 billion from Medicaid subsidies to fund their massive tax cut. Sooner or later, they'll probably get away with all this.
*Fuck*

This $1.5 trillion tax cut for the top.
Talk about pouring gasoline on the fire that is American dysfunction. We're in the wild West.

It's almost like they're purposefully trying to destroy the country or something.

When it starts adding to the debt at an even larger margin than they forecast, they will start going after the social programs to make up the difference.
The corporate tax cut will NOT makes wages go higher or any other fantasy land economic forecast they're spewing out about it, it's pure fraud.

What does the replublican tax plan have to do with both parties? It would seem to me that some democrats are out of touch with the average hard working American and just about every republican in existence at this point is living in another fucking reality all together.

I don't understand....people with $500,000 dollar homes are " middle class"? I thought that this effort was to simplify the tax code.....where is the postcard?

It passed the house today too. The number of republicans that voted for it? 227 out of 240. The number of democrats that voted for it? 0. Not one. Not a single one. I will not argue with your statement that both parties are out of touch but this is sure as fuck not an example of it.

It's not the bill itself, but I don't think the bill is public yet as it is still in committee.

The bill's been published for quite a while now. It's over 400 pages:

More on the GOP tax plan:
Quote:
In addition to raising the deficit by an estimated $1.4 trillion over the next ten years, Americans making less than $75,000 will see a tax hike under the Senate Republican tax plan, while those making over $100,000 would be rewarded with tax cuts, a new analysis by the nonpartisan Congressional Budget Office (CBO) finds.
