Does anyone know where to find this breatheable tape that you put on the holes in the canning lid?

I think medical tape is breathable....

Id say the common breathable filter used around here is tyvek or polyfill...

The reason I was asking this question is because I open the incubator up daily and check my jars, maybe its because Im new and I just want them to grow right. I have aluminum foil over the lids but Im afraid that everytime I go to pick the jars up to look at them contam might crawl inside my jars. The foil kind of lifts up when I pick up the jars.

Don't know what kind of jars your talking about. On grain jars band aids seem to work fine. I hear they are used cause they come steril.
