Nvm lol misread your post, but anyways I think you have little to worry about, kick up the air and keep it moist, I bet if it was a contam your myc could fight it back in the proper conditions, green mold seems to be a bit too vigorous for myc to outrun but I believe I've seen a triched out tub throw outside that produced well, yields were def affected though.

Yes it's growing actually its the fastest thickest colonizing tub with the most knots. I'm getting it the fuck out of there now. Thanks, now I'm all stressed my other tubs are going to start getting shit.

Haha man that tub looks completely fine, think your bugging.
that right there is a bacterial infection, if you saw the tub before pinning you'd understand, my tub makes yours look like the paragon of cultivation in comparison. Bottom line, your tub will flush, if it is contaminated and it continues to grow, increase FAE to the best of your ability, it seems to greatly increase the efficacy of the immune response.

1st shoebox of 3 going into fruiting
Harvested that terrible looking tray i posted the other day. Was actually surprised i got a decent amount off it despite being super dry. Lots of shorties but they were pretty potent, hopefully get more off the 2nd flush.

That looks perfect for fruiting, tub looks awesome, I like the coir peeking through the myc, looks more natural when the pins come in.

Yep, everything I have posted previously has all been MS. All the pics from the last month specifically have been one batch of Costa Rican MS syringe, open air inoculated WBS (with grain 2 grain transfers). All shoeboxes have been same ratio of 1 quart spawn with coir, prepared at ratio of 1/2 brick w/ 1.75 quarts water
Several of the boxes I actually left mostly open air even prior to pinning. I would put loose lid on at night and leave open air during day, misting every 2-3 hours as needed. Although I feel now like I was over-misting, perhaps it contributed to the end results
The only box I posted which wasn't Costa Rican was Chitwan, and this one didn't perform quite as well because I believe I let the surface dry out too much and it became a bit crusted. This was also one I left open air prior to pinning.... so keeping the surface moist at this stage does seem to be a bit tricky when leaving open air.
Also, I did notice some bruising on the surface of a few boxes, which I attributed to fluctuations in moisture levels on the surface. Although I'm not sure about that.. can't think of much else that would cause surface bruising prior to fruiting
Thanks for the props everyone
I do love these shoeboxes, but I am wondering about doing some larger monos next maybe. Taking care of each box individually does become a bit of work when you have to monitor them all daily. I work in an area where they all have to be placed tetris style due to spacing, so just having a few monos instead does seem kind of appealing.

Noob inspired to jump in!

GT spawned from 4 PF cakes into 1.5 qts of CVG, 11 days in:

Z spawned 1:1 grains/CVG, 4 days in:

2nd Z box, 2 days in:

And I've got 6 qts of GT spawn that look like this after 16 days and 2nd shake a week ago:

To spawn or no? Was debating throwing them in 2 qts spawn to 1 qt CVG since they may be baterial..

I would spawn them. They don’t look the cleanest but well worth spawning. Use a ratio of 1:1 grains to coir

What are ya going to do with them if you don't spawn them? May as well give it a shot... or case the top of the jar and fruit out of the jar - personally I'm not a fan of this though. Dawgy bag is also an option

I haven't had a single IPA I like, I like the summer shandy stuff. They had a limited pumpkin ale and it was amazing and then disappeared.

not to highjack (even though I am) Bod I read that you homebrew brother, me too. no finer smell than the aroma of malting fresh cracked barley in the home. Last year I made an incredible Hobgoblin clone, haven't quite been able to reproduce it though. One of my favs from Wychwood. Hard to find in these parts without asking the liqueur store to special order it.

So.. i have some wbs jars that are 3 weeks old at about 75% and stalled starting to worry, am thinking of putting like of them in shoeboxes tonight, i don't have time to PC CVG.. just curious cause i see some people PC it and alot seem not to. Just personal preference? From what i read. verm and coir are neutral and won't breed contams? or is this wrong.. and thanks guys...
Just bucket tek and go?
P.S. yes i am overthinking probably, but for 2 months i have been failing and i would rather ask instead of trashing it all:)
