Mason Jar Blender 3 Day Fully Colonized Jars

I was on another forum and was reading a post from 2007 about turning a mason jar into a blender https://www.google.ca/search?q=turning+mason+jar+into+blender&rlz=1C1CHBF_enCA714CA714&oq=turning+mason+jar+into+blender&aqs=chrome..69i57.8718j0j1&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8#kpvalbx=1
They then showed that after having a fully colonized pint jar they would drop the colonized grain into a quart jar half filled with water that had been pced and then instead of doing grain to grain they would pour the liquid grain mycelium into the new jars and it would fully colonize in 3 days.
https://mycotopia.net/topic/24400-tv-guide-to-colonizing-a-quart-jar-in-three-days/
Has anyone done anything like this with success it makes a far amount of sense.

Look up "eatyualive" on the search bar then go to his "main threads" in his profile he has a thread on using pf cakes and cornmeal plates to colonize quart jars in 3-5 days.

Do you recommend any certain models or something I should look for? The problem is most of the bases are made of plastic and they don't list what type so the only way I'm aware to find out is through trial and error.

Get an Osterizer. The blade and gasket fit perfectly on a regular mouth Mason jar. Just screw the lid band on the blade/gasket combo and sterilize. The blender base doesn't need to be sterile.
That being said, make sure your grain prep and sterile technique are in point if you go with liquid inoculation of any kind. My results are still pretty hit or miss.

Awesome, thanks. I do remember hearing that name quite awhile ago when I was not in the market for one.

The blades are the Osterizer replacement blades, I decided I'd rather have the blade on the bottom of my container so I cut a hole and used silicone to fit the blade.
I use an electric drill to blend the LI, the lid in my image doesn't show it but I have a small hole drilled in it for the syringe.

Do you ever see slower rates with that much water and one plate mushboy? I usually only go 1 plate and a quarter jar of water. Always wanted to use more but didnt know how far you could stretch one plate.
