Mine is leaking steam but is fortunately holding pressure.
Actually now that its reached pressure there is no leak, is this just something normal for a broke in pc?

Type of PC? Where is the steam coming from?
I haven't had to replace either on my PCs but both the rubber seal and the overpressure plug are meant to be replaced periodically. I've heard people having steam escape and a new seal was the fix.
Check the manual for your model? I bet they cover leaking and fixes.
Edit to add: PCs (with toggle weights) shouldn't release steam except during venting and from the toggle weight rocking under pressure. If you are getting escaping steam while under pressure, not from under the weight, there is an issue.

I have a Presto 23qt and the pop-up "lock" and rocker vent will drip and sputter a little until more pressure is reached. I think that is normal at lower pressure and temps.

Where was it leaking? If it's the popup lock in the back thats normal. mine does it also

two of my prestos have warped from running dry and have leaks just as you described that stop before or once at pressure or sometimes I have to readjust the lid before adding the weight if it is really bad.
still using them years later.
that being said make sure yours is not horribly warped to where t will fail. I can't be the judge of that.

you could try to replace it . That might be the issue.
Mine still leaks after replacing but only slightly.
Slowly the leak will wear the gasket out but I just stopped replacing them and it doesn't seem to be getting any worse from continuous use...
and I use them a lot.

Oh yeah I forgot to mention that!
really helps me when I have a bad leak and nothing else works.
they stretch easier when warm but I did break one while stretching once. I t was most likely an older one(years) though.
