thanks!!

I do the same thing essentially, but I stick my media bottle down in a bowl of 120°F water and after it drops back to 120 I pour. Maybe it's because I'm using lab grade agar luckily I didn't pay for my agar I looked up how much a container of BD Bacto Agar the same size I'm allowed to grab some from and it's about $200 (454g container)

This specific one was bought pre-buffered with calcium nitrate. Just an experiment I was trying out (Not worth it fyi).
They sell:
Coir @ $3 per 5kg brick (The one that isn't buffered, just washed). Vermiculite @ $10 per 10kg's/100litre bag Perlite grade 3 @ $17 per 100litre bag
Cheap Cheap
But they charge me 11.99 for .9 kgs of vermiculite or perlite. And 10 bucks for a 5kg brick of coir. I'm going to start shopping around more. Thanks timmy.

gonna leave me hangin ? should i use more or less? its my first time with brf agar.<-noob
that's like 1.333% spot on
0.5-2+ % works fine but above 1.5-2% or so it gets gloopy to use and more tomentose growth.
Below 1.5% is pretty nice and transparent. Pours well too and doesn't boil over like made when reheating.

Not sure if they have them in your area, but local hydroponic stores have amazing deals for me on many mycology supplies (I spent 9.30 on 5 kg coir; 17 on a HUGE bag of perlite. Haven't needed/checked for verm though)
My local shop started carrying blue oyster spawn bags! They say they can be used for growing to support plants and/or fruited in the bag. I wish they weren't at the front of the store because I'd love to snag a myc sample onto some agar...

Why don't you just buy a spawn bag and put some spawn to agar at home?

I get 12-13kg (30 liters) of paper pellets locally for just over £10 (GBP) - $13.25 (USD). Here is Amazon US, its $15.89 (USD) for 30lbs (13.6kg), a good price.
Twice the price of your example coir brick: $0.60/1000g. Paper pellets, the above price: $1.17/1000g.
Coir for me (UK) is $2.92 a kilo...
