If white people wearing dreads is cultural appropriation are black girls who wear weaves racially appropriating white people? Is it cultural appropriation when black people use smart phones or drive cars or use plastic or electricity?

I don't agree that white people having dreads is really cultural appropriation. There is evidence throughout history that people from all over the world have had dreaded hair. When long hair isn't combed, it gets entangled and matted together. That is the nature of hair. It happens to some types of hair faster than other.

And supposedly Rastas appropriated dreadlocks and ganja smoking, chillums, etc. from Indian Hindus who they mixed with as slaves and workers in Colonial Jamaica.

That type of "cultural appropriation", which all cultures do, is very different than a white person at a music festival wearing a war bonnet or something, IMO.

The processes used to make them is a technological advancements.  The actual clothing isn't.  This is basic shit, dude.

So then the cell phone is a cultural advancement and the process used to make it is technological

Was that not following your logic? A facepalm isn't much if a rebuttal, how is using a revolutionary new sewing technique to invent new fabric patterns cultural but using advanced engineering and fabricating to create a cell phone not? it is the same thing, one is just primitive and the other advanced.

It was actually Muslim scholars that started the scientific renaissance. So technically we would still be in the dark ages if it wasn't for brown men.

Muslims plagiarized Greeks and Idians.

Also, when it comes to cultural appropriation and Halloween...I think it's hilarious seeing people who aren't Celtic and celebrating Halloween bitching about appropriating someone else's culture. You have to completely lack any self-awareness to say something like that.
