Don't shoot me, but roughly, ROUGHLY, if some shrooms weigh 30 grams wet, how much will they weigh dry?

Dried is roughly 10% the weight of fresh, but I find that varies greatly when dried down. I've had 30 grams dry to 2 grams before and a few time have had 30 grams dry down to 4 grams. So you can estimate that 30 grams fresh will roughly dry down to 2.5 to 3.5 grams. I would consider 2.5 grams more of a possiblity then 3 or 3.5.

i thought a mushroom was 92% water, meaning it would come out to 8% of the wet weight

8%, 10%, 12%.... im not sure on the specifics, but lets just say your right on the 92% water...then 8% would be your theroitical yeild. there are other vairiables involved, the greatest of which would be human error. sometimes ALL the water is not removed from the shrooms...making your actual yeild a little higher, or maybe this certain flush of shrooms was only 90% water, as opposed to 92% water...if you dry 100 flushes of shrooms, it is possible that each flush could yeild a different ratio of water to mushroom mass...but the average would be somewhere around 10% of your origonal weight
